Margate, Kent, December 18, 2019 — Ms McMenemy has been granted exclusive access to an abandoned cellar, plagued by strange sounds and chilling whispers, to lead a paranormal investigation. She’s on a quest to reveal the source of the sheer fear that has terrorised the tunnels. Even the hardiest of folk daren’t enter – especially after dark. She needs your help, but only the brave will survive the things that go bump in the night.

The less brave can take a tipple of Dutch courage as they slide into the murky underworld and join smugglers, schemers, murderers and mixologists on this unique insight into the other side, under the streets of Margate’s Old Town.

Over 50 thrilling minutes of immersive theatrics and five deliciously distracting drinks per guest, you’ll explore the historical, haunting tunnels that date back to the 1800s. You’ll find costumed actors, tailor-made cocktails and be plunged into the pitch black to set the scene. Strictly for over 18s, this experience is not for the faint hearted and is a feast of frightfully good storytelling that will whisk you back in time and stimulate all the senses.
